As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Leonidas, you will be the primary HR point of contact for the OPERATIONS department, which covers Production and Logistics, as well as several other support services departments.

Your mission? To boost the performance of the departments by leveraging all HR levers: recruiting new employees and ensuring the development of teams, inspiring change and ensuring the optimisation of HR practices, participating in HR projects related in particular to the relocation of the production plant, while instilling our values of team spirit, responsibility, respect, integrity and passion on a daily basis!

The HRBP reports to the HR Director.

Your Main Responsibilities


1. HR Advice and Support

  • Support operational managers in the daily management of their teams: individual queries, work organization, evaluations, development, etc.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies while complying with Belgian legal frameworks and applicable sectoral collective agreements.
  • Handle sensitive individual cases (absenteeism, conflicts, underperformance, etc.) with discernment and in collaboration with specialized teams (payroll, legal, prevention advisor, etc.).

2. Employee Development

  • Identify training needs, help develop and implement development plans, and monitor their execution.
  • Support career paths, internal mobility, and competency management.
  • Actively participate in evaluation and feedback campaigns.

3. Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Define needs with the department, initiate recruitments, actively search for profiles, conduct interviews, and ensure a high-quality onboarding process for new employees.
  • Play a key role in recruiting both blue-collar and white-collar profiles for the Production and Logistics departments.

4. Change Management and HR Projects

  • Act as an HR liaison during organizational projects.
  • Participate in cross-functional HR projects (digitalization, diversity & inclusion, workplace well-being, etc.).

5. Social Dialogue

  • Maintain a constructive dialogue with staff representatives within the defined scope.
  • Prepare, support, or represent management during information/consultation meetings on HR topics related to Operations.

Profile

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Social Law, Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in French and Dutch; knowledge of English is an asset.
  • Solid experience, minimum 5 years, as an HR Business Partner or equivalent role, ideally in an industrial or logistics environment.
  • Relevant experience in HR project management and change management.
  • Very good knowledge of Belgian social law and the functioning of social dialogue bodies.
  • Strong listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, field-oriented, and solution-driven.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and maturity.

  • Experience in a multigenerational environment.
  • Familiarity with the specificities of the industrial, food, or distribution sector.
