Join Leonidas as a Travel Retail Sales Manager on a permanent contract in Brussels (and soon Nivelles)!
We are looking for a talented Travel Retail Sales Manager to join our Travel Retail department.
Your main responsibilities
- Implement the targeted customer strategy and actively support sales within the Global Travel Retail team.
- Achieve set sales targets while ensuring rigorous monitoring of A&P and TP budgets.
Daily tasks
- Business development and regional account management.
- Support in training sales teams.
- Conducting field visits.
- Contributing to monthly sales reporting activities.
Your main responsibilities:
I. Account Management
- Direct monitoring and management of key accounts.
- Supervise store visits in collaboration with the assigned Brand Supervisor.
- Design customized promotional concepts to meet specific customer needs.
- Provide high-end service to establish and maintain strong, lasting relationships.
- Analyze customer segments and translate market needs into appropriate action plans.
II. Business Management / Development
- Develop new Travel Retail sales opportunities in major airports.
- Drive sales and overall business development.
- Organize meetings with buyers, plan orders and coordinate annual budgets.
- Implement and enforce procedures to drive growth with existing and new customers.
- Establish new business relationships with strategic partners.
III. Analysis / Finance
- Accurately manage sales forecasts and marketing budgets.
- Analyze monthly sales, identify and explain variances.
- Monitor the competition and changes in local legislation.
- Liaise with the accounting department to follow up on payment issues.
- Assess opportunities and risks to improve the profitability of the Travel Retail business.
- Provide detailed monthly analysis on regional accounts.
Your profile
- Trilingual in French, Dutch, and English (knowledge of Spanish and/or German is a plus).
- Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the retail sector.
- Team player.
- Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent strategic analysis skills.
- Remarkable negotiation skills and talent for building strong relationships.
- Structured, results-oriented profile with a short- and long-term vision.
- Willingness to travel abroad.
- Flexibility in managing schedules.
